Video 1: Conventional cold storage (CCS) has been the standard conventional preservation technique in liver transplantation, with the unavoidable graft damage in the reperfusion stage. This video shows the ischemia-free liver transplantation (IFLT), during which the donor organs are procured, preserved and implanted without interruption of blood supply by using normothermic machine perfusion (NMP).
